New Vid - Drastically Redefining Protocol Trailer

I was so convinced I'd be able to resist the lure of Merlin. Oh, how wrong I was.

Of course, it's all [info]rageprufrock's fault, with her dastardly awesome epic Drastically Redefining Protocol. Which I love. With the fire of a thousand very hot suns. So, with her kind permission, I made a trailer.

I'm one of those (many) people who were introduced to the concept of a fanfic trailer by your very own 'Hindsight' vid. Not only introduced but blown away actually:) So I was thrilled to see this, especially considering the source fic and I wasn't disappointed. This was fantastic. The paparazzi angle of it all, capturing the hilarity *and* the sweetness of the story. I could kiss you!

That is SO FREAKING BRILLIANT. *dances* I especially love the bit you have of Merlin (okay Colin :>) on the steps with the camera overlay, focusing in and out on him. I just, I adore how you do so much with suggestion and hinting, and the music is perfect. ♥

This is so lovely. I adore the use of colors.
And the footage from the DVD-Extras really gives you the paparazzi feeling.

You already know how I feel about this, but I feel it necessary to talk about how fucking MINDBLOWLY COOL THIS IS some more. Seriously! So cool! I can't decide what I like best about it: the song (lotsa people wondering what the song is, btw); the timing; your massively clever use of the paucity of available clips of these two; the way you made London glittery and beautiful and like something out of a romantic comedy of the highest-budget kind, or how coy this is. I adored it. Now, I will go watch it a million more times.

This really is so beautiful - I have two quesitons! First - what is that amazing song that you used for that song? And two - can you please tell me (it's OK if you lie) that you somehow composited a newspaper, then like stuck it in a newsie's stack and took the pictures that way? Because I was totally amazed by that (because I'm a nerd). Reeeally gorgeous.

Wow, what an awesome vid. It's so classy! I love the beginning part where "arthur" is walking down the street with his hand on his neck, and then we see all these paparazzi cameras. Too cool.
